This photography project documents sites that were once active, valued, or socially significant, and which now exist in states of neglect, transition, or erasure. The locations range from widely recognisable landmarks to more ordinary, overlooked structures, each approached with the same observational intent.

All images are shot on monochrome 35 mm film. Working within the limitations of analogue photography allows for a slower, more deliberate process, emphasising material detail, spatial composition, and the physical condition of each site. The absence of colour foregrounds form, texture, light, and shadow, reducing visual distraction and reinforcing a factual reading of place.
